Social Sector Practice Assistant
In 2007 I worked with McKinsey & Company’s San Francisco-based Social Sector Office. Over that time, I provided project-based and administrative support for engagements with leading philanthropic organizations, including the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, and the Philanthropy Workshop. This experience allowed me to gain tremendous exposure to and experience with elite-level management strategy, with primary emphasis on strengthening the effectiveness and impact of public-sector organizations. My tenure with the firm also inspired me to pursue a master’s degree and establish an independent consulting firm focused on bridging the worlds of philanthropy, public policy, management strategy, equity-oriented arts & culture.
