Social Sector Practice Assistant

San Francisco, California

In 2007, Kiley Arroyo worked within McKinsey & Company’s San Francisco-based Social Sector Practice, supporting engagements with major philanthropic institutions.

This experience provided early insight into how large-scale institutions approach systems change, capital deployment, and performance measurement — as well as the limitations of strategy models that do not fully integrate cultural, relational, and developmental dimensions.

Her time at McKinsey informed the decision to pursue advanced study in cultural policy and later establish an independent advisory practice dedicated to bridging philanthropy, public policy, management strategy, and equity-centered arts and culture.

This formative chapter sharpened CSC’s commitment to combining strategic rigor with cultural intelligence — aligning analytical precision with human and systemic depth.
